This policy describes how Singh and Sons Tax handles personal information collected through this website. It does not cover information you provide to us as a client during an engagement, which is governed by our engagement terms and by the confidentiality rules that apply to tax practitioners.

If you submit the contact form, we receive the name, email address, and phone number you enter, your answers to the qualifying questions, and anything you write in the message field. We ask you not to include Social Security numbers, account numbers, or other sensitive identifiers in that field.

If analytics are enabled, we also receive standard usage information through Google Analytics: pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Form submissions are used to respond to your enquiry and to determine whether we are the right practice for your situation. Analytics data is used to understand how the site is used and to improve it. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Enquiries that do not become engagements are retained only as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of the contact. Where an enquiry becomes a client engagement, the resulting records are retained under the record-retention rules that apply to tax practitioners.

California residents have the right to know what personal information we have collected about them, to request its deletion, to request that inaccurate information be corrected, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

The contact form is delivered through a third-party form service, and analytics are provided by Google. Each processes data under its own terms. We do not permit either to use your information for their own advertising purposes.

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date. Material changes affecting how we use information already collected will be identified clearly.
